ULTIMATE SHINOBI'S SYSTEMS.

Welcome to Ultimate Shinobi 2.0, one of the best Naruto Roleplaying websites on the internet. Our activity, roleplaying caliber and overall warming environment has been constructed through the systems the members are required to follow and the staff are required to enforce. These systems are available for everybody to read which means there should not be an excuse to break them. Systems are created to ensure balance throughout the site and weren't carefully structured to have you disregard and/or disobey them. Please abide by them to the best of your abilities, or risk suffering a variety of consequences.

CREATION SYSTEMS.

STARTING JUTSU LIMITS: Implementing a limitation to the amount of jutsu you initially start off with is what we think to be a smart tactic. Not only do they encourage roleplaying and training, they encourage character development. Which is what we love to see. Please note these will not include certain jutsu like the academy technique and any others listed HERE.

C-rank Shinobi: 15 Jutsu
B-rank Shinobi: 25 Jutsu
A-rank Shinobi: 40 Jutsu
S-rank Shinobi: 60 Jutsu

Remember that this limit only applies to starting jutsu. The skies the limit on how many jutsu a Nin may have ultimately.

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS: In addition to a bloodline many characteristic develop distinct traits we call special characteristics. A full list of the available special characteristic can be found on the character registry forum. Characters are limited to a set number of special characteristics

C Rank Nin = 3
B Rank Nin = 5 (May start with 2 characteristics upon creation)
A Rank Nin = 7 (May start with 4 characteristics upon creation)
S Rank Nin = 10 (May start with 6 characteristics upon creation)

Things to bare in mind

Conflicting special characteristics are not permitted. This is where it could not be logical for a character too have two opposing characteristics such as insomnia and deep sleeper at once. Similarly you may be denied a special characteristic if you characters nature is such that there is no logic for them to possess it. There is no hard and fast list of which SC's conflict and will be up to the mod checking any application to decide.

Much like jutsu you may not possess a special characteristic beyond your rank

CLANS AND BLOODLINES: All characters may have one bloodline or as we prefer call them kekkai Genkai's which 90% time are linked to a specific clan. Their Kekkai Genkai is what separate's them from their fellow Nin and allows a character to do things that would otherwise not be permitted such as have a 3rd element, specialty or the ability to use unique powers. There are literally thousands of possible variations and as such no defined list of what is acceptable though like all things it must not be too overpowered. What is considered overpowered or inappropriate is ultimately a matter for staff and the judgement on such matters is final.

Please note that characters may only have one Kekkai Genkai. It is possible to harvest dojutsu (a very unique form of Kekkai Genkai) by following the appropriate rules which can be found in the rules section but otherwise ones the limit. Likewise abilities or traits that replicate Kekkai Genkai's is not allowed and will be considered a means of attempting to circumvent the rules.

While most characters have one it is not required for a character to have a kekkai Genkai. Those that do not have one may opt to acquire one at any point.

For those of you with no experience creating clans, bloodlines or kekkai Genkai or simply want to use someone else's US does permit you to use the clans of others. In some case clans are open to everyone or to specific villages. Please look at the open village clan threads for details. Most clans however need the specific permission of their owner to join and without it you will not be able to do so.

EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONRY: All characters may included appropriate equipment and weaponry in their characters apps. The following limitations apply in regard to specialties.

B Rank Weapons or Higher - Can only be used by individuals with specialty in weaponry or puppetry (restricted to puppet weapons only)
B Rank Armour or Higher - Can only be used by individuals with specialty in weaponry or taijutsu
Puppets and related puppet equipment - Can only be used by individuals with specialty in puppets
Equipment with B rank seals or higher on it - Can only be used by individuals with a specialty in fuuinjutsu.
B Rank Medicial Equipment or Higher - Can only be used by individuals with a specialty in medical ninjutsu.

There is no limit to the amount of equipment or weapons you can have but they should be reasonable and proportionate and never exceed the characters rank.

POISONS:

While all Nin know a few things about poisons few have the practiced skill or training to use them in battle. Only characters with Puppetry or Medical Ninjutsu specialties may use poisons. The number and rank of poisons a character can have are limited to the following.

C Rank Character = 2 C Rank poisons
B Rank Character = 1 B Rank poison, 2 C Rank poisons
A Rank Character = 1 A Rank poison, 2 B Rank poisons, 3 C Rank poisons
S Rank Character = 1 S Rank poison, 2 A rank poisons, 3 B rank poisons, 3 C rank poisons

For training and rule purposes Poisons are treated identically to equipment

RANKING SYSTEM.

THE RANKING SYSTEM:

Here on Ultimate Shinobi our ranking system extends beyond the basic ranks of Genin, Chuunin, Jounin and Kage and have included a few rankings such as
Exp.Genin, Exp.Chuunin and Exp.Jounin which are subcategories of certain rankings, this means if you are a Exp.Genin you are still officially ranked as Genin, likewise with Exp.Chuunin and Exp.Jounin. Below states each ranking the point requirement it takes to achieve that particular ranking. Please note the point levels are supposed to be massive because jumping ranks isn't something you should be able to do with just a few topics, it should be a prolonged and consistent experience.

Genin - 0 Ranking Points, 0 Mission Points.
C Rank Nukenin - 0 Reputation Points.
Experienced Genin - 80 Ranking Points, 20 Mission Points.
Chuunin - 160 Ranking Points, 40 Mission Points.
B Rank Nukenin - 200 Reputation Points.
Experienced Chuunin - 240 Ranking Points, 60 Mission Points.
Jounin - 320 Ranking Points, 80 Mission Points.
A Rank Nukenin - 400 Reputation Points.
Experienced Jounin - 400 Ranking Points, 100 Mission Points.
S Rank Nukenin - 500 Reputation Points.
Kage - 700 Ranking Points, 200 Mission Points. Not earned through RP.

At each customary title you receive a slight bonus besides the increase of Chakra Points, that system is as seen below. Please note, these aren't free however they must be trained as if they were any other kind of jutsu.

Genin - C-rank and below.
C Rank Nukenin - C-rank and below.
Experienced Genin - C-rank and below, 1 B-rank.
Chuunin - B-rank and below.
B Rank Nukenin - B-rank and below.
Experienced Chuunin - B-rank and below, 1 A-rank.
Jounin - A-rank and below.
A Rank Nukenin - A-rank and below.
Experienced Jounin - Unlimited S-rank and below.
S Rank Nukenin - Unlimited S-rank and below.
Kage - Unlimited S-rank and below, strongest ninja of the village.

If a user wishes to be Nukenin there are a few rules and requirements to attaining the title of Nukenin. It is compulsory for all individuals to abide by these conditions if they wish to receive the privilege of a Nukenin ranking.

  • Members are encouraged to start off as Nukenin if anything, though leaving a village and becoming a Nukenin is not a strictly prohibited it is usually frowned upon. Leaving a village is an extremely difficult task, especially without detection. Every possible exit would presumingly be guarded with dozens of NPC Chuunin and Jounin making escaping very difficult. All escapes are to be reviewed by a staff member to be deemed acceptable.
  • If escaping, a topic must definitely be public and must be left for 24 hours to allow anybody to attempt to stop you. Failing to abide by this may result in immediate character death or topic void.
  • Intent is important, randomly deciding you do not want to be a part of a village and attempting to escape despite your characters personality is not permitted. Everything must be done for a very valid reason.
  • Just like the village ranking system all Nukenin are required to start as C-rank unless they are given permission by an administrator via PM, assuming the administrator overlooks the current balance of Nukenin. The administrator will make the decision based apon the members current activity, role-playing skill, and character creation and development skills. Otherwise, all Nuke-Nin start out at C-Rank.
  • A Nuke-Nin may enter a PC village (this includes that original village that they came from) but it is at their own risk. Entering a village and causing a stir of some kind is an easy way to earn Reputation Points, but probably one of the most dangerous.
  • Every Nukenin is required to be in the Bingo Book, meaning certain information about them will be free to the public, assuming they are a high enough rank since Genin won't usually be reading the Bingo Books. Being presumed to be dead isn't permitted unless an event occurs in character.

THE EVALUATION SYSTEM:

The base idea of this system should be understood by those veterans of Ultimate Shinobi, as it is practically based off of how the Missions Board was ran when Evaluations were brought into perspective. This now spreads out into a wider system which is ultimately how you rank up on Ultimate Shinobi. I guess you could call it your roleplaying incentive. As seen above you in The Ranking System, each ranking has a certain amount of points that symbolize the base amount for each whatever rank matches it, which means when you reach these milestones you are free to rank up. But how do you do that exactly do I hear you ask? Let me explain it to you.

Using the Topic Evaluation Template you post your completed roleplaying topics in the Evaluation Section where a staff member will review and evaluate your topic and give it a grading, with the maximum value being 20 points. They will critique you on such things as quality, quantity, grammar, spelling and overall entertainment, hopefully giving you some feedback on what you did well and what you can approve on before locking the requested evaluation, moving it to the appropriate section and adding the rewarded points to your character in the Ranking Points Archive which is a place that can only be edited by staff members. Please note that it is not a moderators job to keep track of your points to know when you are free to rank up, it is the individuals. Ranking Points however are not the only point type required to rank up, you are also required to receive a certain amount of Mission Points, you can request a mission at your villages Administration Building using the Mission Request Template and receive a mission from your Kage, once it is complete you can submit this for Evaluation with the Topic Evaluation Template specifying that it is a mission you are requesting to be evaluated and you will then receive a certain amount of Mission Points for the mission you have completed, the you will be graded ten points on such things as uality, quantity, grammar, spelling and overall entertainment, but the ten will be given depending on the missions ranking, for an in depth look of the missions system, click here.

Nukenin have a slightly different ranking system, their ranking points are earned through reputation building, which can involve interaction with other ninja with criminal intent or performs crimes. This will alter depending on the severity of their crimes. Instead of earning both Ranking Points and Mission Points Nukenin earn their points in one large bundle which is appropriately named Reputation Points.

PostSubject: Re: Ultimate Shinobi's Systems   Ultimate Shinobi's Systems Icon_minitimeThu Feb 03, 2011 2:20 am

TRAINING AND MISSIONS SYSTEMS.

TRAINING JUTSU:

After you are approved, the training of your jutsu is most likely something you will get very familiar with. Before training the jutsu, you are to create them in the Jutsu Registry section with the Jutsu Template. Once completed a moderator will tend to your application until they classify it as appropriate in which case you will be approved for training, abiding by the post counts seen below you are free to train your jutsu, once this step is down you are free to post a link to your completed training on the Jutsu Application, a staff member will then overlook the training before approving it and adding it to your application.

E-Rank: No training required.
D-Rank: 150 words
C-Rank: 250 words
B-Rank: 450 words
A-Rank: 800 words
S-Rank: 1100 words

If you're training multiple Jutsu in one thread, be sure to separate each jutsu clearly, the best way to do this is making them individual posts, if you train two C-ranks and a B-rank in one topic meaning you have 950 words to write up, these must be distributed to the appropriate jutsu, meaning your B-rank would still have to be 450 words or higher. Do note that Limited Jutsu do not apply to this system and require their own training requirements.

MISCELLANEOUS TRAINING:

Equipment, Weapons, Puppets two ranks or lower then your characters do not need to be trained. This reflects the relative ease with which the higher ranking characters can acquire such items, even ones lower ranking Nin could only hope for. All other such items need to be trained if not originally included in the initial character application in the same manner as Jutsu. Whether or not they need training all such items must go through the approval process.

For items/objects that do not fall into this above categories members should make a request/petition in the misc creation thread, outlining the details. At which point either a senior mod or admin will decide whether it warrants training and if so set an appropriate word count accordingly.

TRAINING SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Special characteristics are trained in the same manner as jutsu but due to their potent nature have some additional rules and aspects:

  • Special characteristics all have a precise word count, please check the descriptions of the individual special characteristics for what this is.
  • Some special characteristic have multiple ranks. If you have one of these they do not simply rank up when you do but each level must be trained to attain. However they further ranks do not count towards you special characteristic limit, merely replace the lower level version.

THE MISSIONS SYSTEM:

The Missions System is slightly different then what you might be used to if you were familiar with the Ultimate Shinobi 2.0 system but it is very similar, it just has something processes then the previous set-up. The first thing you might notice is we don't actually have a Missions Board like we previously did. Instead we have put the Administration Buildings to good use. Using the Mission Request Template you can request a mission in which case your Kage will then create you a mission for you to complete, or alternatively you can use the Mission Template to request the permission to do a mission you have created yourself in the same way. Once the mission is successfully completed you submit it for evaluation in the Evaluation Section and specify that it is a mission.

Much like the Topic Evaluation System you can receive a maximum of twenty points, however this is done is a slightly different concept to the Evaluation System and instead stays true to the Ultimate Shinobi 2.0 Mission Boards system, scoring you out of ten, whereas the other ten is based on the mission ranking which is the same as in the past, valuing each ranking as follows.

D-Rank Mission - 2 Points.
C-Rank Mission - 4 Points.
B-Rank Mission - 6 Points.
A-Rank Mission - 8 Points.
S-Rank Mission - 10 Points.

So for example if you were to complete a B-rank Mission and receive 8/10 then your official score is 14/20 meaning you are awarded Fourteen Mission Points. Each rank requires a minimal amount of Mission Points in order to rank up, as well as Ranking Points. This is to ensure people truly live as a ninja are complete various missions during their experience on Ultimate Shinobi, however you are not limited to only doing missions to rank up, certain people may do them just for fun and this is strongly encouraged.

COMBAT SYSTEM.

COMBAT RULES:

There are number of rules and aspects that need to be observed in all conflicts.

1. Do not God Mod or Meta-Game

Both are completely unacceptable. For full definitions of what these are please refer to the following threads

God Modding
Meta-Gaming

Of particular note never:

  • State that you hit opponent in your post with any move or technique. Doing so is God Modding. They will decide if they get hit.
  • Claim you avoided getting hit without a logical or indeed feasible reasoning behind it. Evasion and defence must be as carefully done as any attack and must be explainable. If you can not explain the logic of your action you are God Modding. Constant dodging, even by means of predictive abilities is also considered God Modding
  • Outline the actions of another person. It is fine to exploit there own actions if the thread allows for it but never to control those of another especially an opponent. You can not for instance claim your opponent ran to your left unless you opponent actually stated that previously
.

2. Always establish and follow a clear posting order where possible.

Basically do not post out of turn and always give others a chance to respond unless inactivity threatens to stop the thread dead

3. Do not post/use jutsu, techniques, weapons, etc. you character does not possess

Doing so or using the ones you have inappropriately or in a manner not implied or stated in the description is not permitted. Furthermore if used to avoid death or to make something more powerful than it truely is then you will be considered to have God Modded.

4. When in combat you must always post details of any Jutsu used in that post at the bottom.

There is an exception for genjutsu providing you follow certain rules (see the Genjutsu Rules). This is not only proves your character knows them and makes clear the affect but is curtosey to avoid others having to rifle through your application.

5. You can only ever use Jutsu you know prior to the battle.

Jutsu learned in a different thread after a battle commences can not be used.

THE CHAKRA SYSTEM:

During combat there are many different paths one can take to being a victor and most of these paths involve jutsu. In the past, we have relied on trust that members will not overdo it, but most of the time it is done by accident anyway. So now we have developed a fair chakra system to ensure a realistic nature is adapted into combat when it comes to chakra consumption and exhaustion. Below you will find values with the initials 'CP' which stands for Chakra Points. These Chakra Point values listed below are what some call their chakra capacity. The final ten of these points are not considered to be points you should use in a fight, these points are what essentially keeps you alive. Example: A Genin has a 50 CP capacity but should utilize a maximum of forty of these in battle unless their life is already threatened, additional usage may result in death if a staff member deems it an overuse. Even using all forty of these points would mean you are extremely exhausted and would most likely struggle to escape, the less points you use the less exhausted you would be, without considering other physical possibilities like damage you have been inflicted with or if you have been running for a considerable amount of time.

Genin- 50 CP
C Rank Nukenin- 50 CP
Konin- 60 CP
Chuunin - 80 CP
B Rank Nukenin- 80 CP
Special Chuunin - 100 CP
Jounin- 150 CP
A Rank Nukenin- 150 CP
Experienced Jounin - 170 CP
S Rank Nukenin- 170 CP
Shantakai- 190 CP
Kage/Leader- 210 CP

Of course, with the information provided above, you are surely already lead to believe that this will involve how you create jutsu yourselves. This is partially true, when describing a jutsu you need to describe it as best you can to ensure the staff can give your jutsu an appropriate value. You see, members do not choose the value of their own techniques, this is up to a staff member while they are moderating the applications. These range in point values depending on the depicted chakra consumption. Although Taijutsu and Basic Weaponry doesn't necessarily require chakra molding to perform, we consider some chakra usage must be use and therefore have them adapted into our system, certain Taijutsu may cost less than a Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, but once again if the move is heavily exhausting then the value could be higher than that of a Genjutsu or Ninjutsu.

E Rank: 1 - 2
D Rank: 3 - 4
C Rank: 5 - 9
B Rank: 10 - 15
A Rank: 20 - 25
S Rank: 35 - 39

For those jutsu that last longer than one post and require the constant manipulation of chakra, there is an additional cost associated with maintaining them. Please state in your jutsu's description the maximum duration of the jutsu, especially regarding Genjutsu.

E Rank: N/A
D Rank: 1 CP Per Post
C Rank: 2 CP Per Post
B Rank: 3 - 4 CP Per Post
A Rank: 5 - 6 CP Per Post
S Rank: 9 - 10 CP Per Post

PostSubject: Re: Ultimate Shinobi's Systems   Ultimate Shinobi's Systems Icon_minitimeThu Feb 03, 2011 2:26 am

PUPPETRY SYSTEM.

1. No puppeteer may use a puppet that is above them in rank. This means that:

Genin - Up to C Rank
- 4 Total Puppets
- 1 C ranked
Experienced Genin - Up to C Rank
- 5 Total Puppets
- 2 C ranked
Chuunin - Up to B Rank
- 6 Total Puppets
- 1 B ranked
- 2 C ranked
Experienced Chuunin - Up to B Rank
- 7 Total Puppets
- 2 B ranked
- 2 C ranked
Jounin - Up to A Rank
- 8 Total Puppets
- 1 A ranked
- 3 B ranked
- 3 C ranked
Experienced Jounin - Up to S Rank
- 10 Total Puppets
- 1 S ranked
- 2 A ranked
- 3 B ranked
- 4 C ranked
Kage - Up to S Rank
- 12 Total Puppets
- 2 S ranked
- 4 A ranked
- 5 B ranked
- 6 C ranked

2. All puppets require a constant stream of chakra to use. Chakra strings are required by default to manipulate puppets so DO NOT make a puppet that does not require them.

3. Using a puppet's weapons does not require chakra. Unless the weaponry is chakra based, the only cost associated with a puppet is the initial using of Kugutsu no Jutsu and the maintaining of chakra strings.

6. Human puppets require Staff approval and must be made from a real ninja, not an NPC or someone mentioned in your history. You must also either have the body in your possession (intact, rotting corpses do not make good puppets and you will not be able to use that body's abilities) or have a human puppet given to you in RP by someone who has a human puppet.

7. No puppeteer may use more than ten puppets at one time, one for each finger. Five puppets are allowed per hand.

Puppet Ranking System

Every puppet is equipped with a certain number of slots. These slots can be fitted with:
- Regular melee weapons such as swords and spears - 1 Slot required
- Basic projectile launchers e.g firing kunai, shuriken - 1 Slot required
- Small body modifications such as extendible arms, rotating heads etc. - 2 Slots required
- Large body modifications such as person-trapping compartments, tails etc. - 3 Slots required
- Elemental launchers e.g flamethrowers, high pressure water cannons - 4 Slots required
- Chakra-based weaponry e.g. chakra swords, axes etc. - 4 Slots required

- Any other attachments you wish to add to a puppet can be forwarded to a mod or admin and they'll decided upon how many slots it will require.
- No puppet may be fitted with both an elemental launcher and chakra-based weaponry; only one at a time

Puppet Rank Slot Allowances

D Rank - 4 Slots, no elemental launchers or chakra based weaponry allowed
C Rank - 5
B Rank - 6
A Rank - 8
S Rank - 12

HUMAN PUPPETRY SYSTEM.

Hitokugutsu is a forbidden ninja art that allows a puppeteer to create puppets from human corpses. By removing the internal organs of a foe and preserving the body to prevent decomposition, as well as adding weapons and defences, a puppeteer can make powerful human puppets. These puppets are different from normal ones, as they retain their use of chakra and any techniques once acquired. Keep in mind that Human Puppets are by no means allowed to retain their former self's Kekkei Genkai and/or Clan-based jutsu.

How to Obtain a Human Puppet
  • Must have both Puppetry and Medical Skill Specialties.
  • Must be of Experienced Jounin Rank of Higher [S-ranked]
  • Puppet must have been a player-controlled character on Ultimate Shinobi.
  • This player must be completely deceased.
  • This body must not have sustained any more than minor cosmetic damage.
  • This body must be obtained and stored/sealed immediately after death, either by the puppeteer or an associate

Once the puppeteer is in possession of a corpse that fulfils these three conditions, the creation process may begin.
Quote :
Name: Hitokyoushi no Jutsu – Human Puppet Binding Technique
Rank: A
Type: Kugutsu
Element:None.
Description: Hitokyoushi no Jutsu is a forbidden ninja technique that allows the user to make a puppet which can contain and use chakra. This is done by making a living human into a puppet. The user requires a human corpse in near-pristine condition to begin with. The puppeteer then must perform an extremely long and complex process that takes 7 days wherein which all human elements of the body are replaced with synthetic parts. The head, torso, left arm, right arm, left leg, and right leg will undergo this process with each limb taking one day and the torso taking two days. This process requires that:
  • The user post once every day for the seven day period
  • Must post a minimum of 600 words describing the removal, creation and replacement of the limb for that day.
  • Is not allowed to perform it within the confines of the village, due to it being forbidden
  • Is not allowed to be attacked/confronted during this process or that particular limb will be set-back for another 2days. This means if you are in the process of changing a limb and you are attacked, you MUST have to re-roleplay that limb or any other limb still needing to be converted another 2 days from the date of the attack, therefore postponing the overall procedure.
Once this is completed, the human puppet process is completed and a Hitokugutsu is made. This puppet retains all jutsu that the original body possessed and carries half the chakra stores of the original puppet.

Possessing a Human Puppet

PuppeteerPuppetChakra (Per Post)
SDE
SCD
SBC
SAB
SSA
This table shows the different ranked puppets that a puppeteer may use and how much chakra it costs per post to maintain.
Just as there are rules to obtain a human puppet, there are rules to maintain one. These are as follows:
  • Puppeteers may be able to have one other puppet active (in combat) at the same time as their human puppet, with Experienced Jonin and Special Forces Shinobi allowed up to a C-rank puppet active and Legendary Shinobi and Kage allowed up to a B-rank.
  • The Human Puppet can only possess 15 of the original character's jutsu.
  • If any of the puppet's limbs are completely destroyed, that limb cannot be replaced

Destroying/Dispossessing a Human Puppet
Human puppets can be destroyed just as any other puppet can. The puppeteer has all right to dispose of their puppet at any time they desire, however it must be roleplayed.

MISCELLANEOUS SYSTEMS.

HEALING:

All Nin are assume to recover from minor injuries without need of medical attention thanks to heightened metabolisms and the natural healing aspect of chakra coursing through their bodies. Scrapes, mild cuts, bruises and sprains etc only affect the user for the duration of the battle and are not factored into any following conflicts, thread or missions.

[Significant injuries such as broken bones, deep wounds, organ damage. Indeed anything akin to a severe and sustained beating will take time to recover from if not overly long thanks to the miracle of medical jutsu. Such injuries last for week during which the time nin can not train, go on missions or engage in further battles but may take part in social/non strenuous threads.

Loss of limbs, body parts and irreparable organ damage can not be healed save by specific approved jutsu which are directly applied by approved characters.

Lost limbs/parts may be replaced with synthetic equivalents or regrown/reconstructed by approved characters with the requisite skill base. Where this is not done it is assumed that the limb/part is replace by a conventional systhentic part designed to exactly replicate the components nature. Standard replacements add no additional functionality, may only be made of mundane materials and are chakra conductive.

Death can not be healed save by specific approved jutsu that allows it.

TRAVELING:

Unless otherwise permitted by admin Travel Threads must be posted if you intend your character to travel between countries/nations.

What is a travel thread?

It is a thread started in the same forum as your characters last thread detailing your travels. It need not be more then one post long, though as it can be evaluated you may opt to develop the thread accordingly. The same rules apply as any other IC thread including entry and word counts.

When do I need to post one?

Every time you intend to travel between countries unless otherwise exempted by an Admin.

Is there any waiting involved?

Yes. To reflect that travel takes time you can not post a new thread or join an existing one in the country you are travelling too until the following real time expires:

24 Hours when travelling to a neighbouring country
48 Hours when travelling to any country not bordering the one you are in.

The waiting time starts from you first post in the travel thread.

I have made a travel thread and waited the necessary time. Is there anything else I need to do or can I post as normal?

All you need to do is put a link to the travel thread at the top of your new one to make it clear you have completed the appropriate travel thread. This is for the benefit of staff.

I have failed to post a travel thread or wait the correct amount of time?

Unless you have been specifically exempted by an Admin your character will not be deemed to have left the previous country and any subsequent involvement will be voided.

STAFF SYSTEM: Here on Ultimate Shinobi we have three different staff positions each with their own job requirements. Becoming a staff member means you vow to do your best to fulfill these tasks or risk being removed. Earning a staff position is a privilege, if you see it as a burden it is never recommended that you apply. Members, remember that these positions are non-profitable, we do not get paid to do these jobs we do it out of interest and do our best to make your time here enjoyable, so treat every staff member with the utmost respect despite whatever emotion you truly feel towards them.

Administrators
The title of Administrator is obviously the highest ranking position on Ultimate Shinobi, those who are administrator are in charge of the forum entirely, making sure everything is running smoothly and all is well. They are in charge of the moderators and deal with staff relations in case a moderator is having trouble regarding an application or individual. The complete many behind the scenes tasks that many members will not realize but also are responsible for massively important tasks such as the plot and the overall forum structure. It is not out of the ordinary for administrators to check the occasional application.

Senior Moderators
Senior Moderators are the internal leaders of the moderation team. Their job requirements include such tasks as law enforcement, member assistance, question answering and also reviewing applications like an Evaluation Moderator. A Senior Moderators decision making holds a higher authority than an Evaluation Moderators when regarding tricky applications but should not act as a power player, but more or less a mentor to the Evaluation Moderators.

Evaluation Moderators
The job requirements of an Evaluation Moderator is just as the name suggests, they review and evaluate every kind of application you submit on Ultimate Shinobi, but their evaluation abilities are not restricted to this, they also evaluate all the topics submitted for evaluation in order to rank up. They probably appear to have the largest workload from a users perspective because they do all the front of house work instead of the behind the scenes. They are as valued as any other staff member however.

C Rank Nin = 2
B Rank Nin = 4
A Rank Nin = 5
S Rank Nin = 6
